BRIEF OVERVIEW

On July 22, 2025, the BOCC approved award of Contract No. 25-C01032 to Hartman Civil Construction Co., Inc. for the Ayers Road Stormwater Management Facility-4 (SMF F-4) Repair and Quality Drive Pond SE Flume Restoration for $237,388.00.

 

The purchase order was originally issued for $237,388.00.  Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $12,600.00 was approved by the Chief Procurement Officer on November 7, 2025, for additional sod and fiber concrete material due to changes in field measurement required to complete Quality Drive Pond and increased the purchase order to $249,988.00.

 

Hernando County Department of Public Works has requested an increase to Purchase Order No. 25000904 for an expansion in the subsidence area requiring additional mitigation efforts for the Ayers Road Stormwater Management project.  Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $153,030.00, would increase the purchase order to $403,018.00.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT

Funding in the amount of $153,030.00 will be available in the following account:

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended the Board approve Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $153,030.00 to Hartman Civil Construction Co., Inc., for Purchase Order No. 25000904, bringing the total purchase order amount to $403,018.00.
