BRIEF OVERVIEW
Vincent Academy Adventure Coast, Inc., plans to construct a facility in the foreseeable future that aims at aiding individuals with mental illness in transitioning toward independent living and re-entering the workforce. However, in the interim period, they are seeking space to accommodate individuals eligible for their community programs.
Vincent Academy Adventure Coast, Inc., is currently leasing 2,870 square feet in Hernando County at the Westside (Forest Oaks) Government Center (Key No. 1137852). Their current lease is now expiring, and they wish to continue operation within Hernando County under this two (2) year lease agreement.
Staff recommends that the Board approve this two (2) year lease with Vincent Academy Adventure Coast.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Dependent on the Board’s approval of the lease agreement, the annual revenue would be increased in Account No. 0011-01701-3620001 Rentals and Buildings by 3% to be $2,459.75 a month ($29,517.00 per year) and another 3% for the second year to $2,533.55 a month ($30,402.60 per year).

It is recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairperson’s signature on the attached lease agreement with Vincent Academy Adventure Coast, Inc., for office space at the Westside Government Center located within property Key No. 1137852.
