Budget Resolution Transferring Grant Funds for Grant Agreement With State Department of Environmental Protection for Northcliffe Boulevard Force Main Project

BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Northcliffe Force Main Grant agreement with the Department of Environmental Protection is scheduled for approval at the October 11, 2022 Board Meeting, Doc ID No. 10969. (Originally scheduled for September 27, 2022.) A budget resolution is needed at this time to set up the grant. Procurement of design services will be complete by the end of FY23 and construction by the end of FY 2024.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The attached budget resolution will set up federal grant funding totaling $1,400,000.00 for the Northcliffe Force Main Project. Hernando County Utilities Department match will be $1,400,000.00. See attached budget resolution for account information.

The Board has the authority to act on this matter pursuant to Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the attached budget resolution for the Northcliffe Force Main Project.
