Commissioner Elect Brian Hawkins received a request from Michelle Watson Hecksher, President of Tribute To The Troops Florida Chapter, for a resolution proclaiming November 12, 2022, as Gold Star Family Day in Hernando County. The ceremony for Justin Dean Coleman and Lea Mills will be held on November 12, 2022, at Veterans of Foreign Wars “VFW” Post 9236 located at 3435 Shoal Line Boulevard, Hernando Beach, Florida, 34607 and will provide the opportunity to honor the Fallen Service Member’s families and to let them know their loss will never be forgotten.
