Discussion Regarding Proposed South Brooksville Community Redevelopment Area Boundary
body
BRIEF OVERVIEW
The South Brooksville community, through leadership from community members, Pasco-Hernando State College, agency partners, County and City representatives, has begun to develop its Community Redevelopment Area boundary. Due to the size of the proposed boundary and the potential to the economic base for the City of Brooksville, the Tax Redevelopment Advisory Committee (a subcommittee of the Community Conversations group lead by Pasco-Hernando State College) determined that a preliminary review by both the Board of County Commissioners and City Council was necessary. This review will allow for preliminary feedback on the proposed boundaries, will facilitate dialogue on the status of the Community Redevelopment Area plans, and will allow for any revisions to be made to the boundary before significant planning occurs for the community.
