During employment with Hernando County Fire Rescue, Kevin Harris sustained a work-related injury.
Both parties have reached mutual agreement for complete settlement of the claim. Until the case is officially closed, the details of the settlement are part of current litigation and therefore considered confidential pursuant to Sections 440.125 and 119.071(1)(d)(1), Florida Statutes.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Board approve the settlement in the case of Kevin Harris vs. Hernando County and authorize staff to complete the necessary documents to close out this claim and ligation. Hernando County’s Workers Compensation Attorney, Frank C. Wesighan from Dean, Ringers, Morgan and Lawton, P.A., concurs with staff’s recommendation.
