BRIEF OVERVIEW
Hernando County Fire Rescue and Emergency Services is reviewing ordinances, policies and procedures. Currently, the ordinance pertaining to Certificates of Public Convenience and Necessity (COPCN’s) for EMS transportation providers is in Chapter 21 (titled Offenses and Miscellaneous Provisions) of the Hernando County Code of Ordinances. This amended ordinance contains minor changes and moves the provisions of the ordinance to Chapter 15, Article III (titled Emergency and Non-Emergency Medical Transportation).
