BRIEF OVERVIEW
Oakview Woods, LLC (Developer) is developing Oakview Woods, a residential subdivision of approximately 125 lots. The Developer wishes to connect to the Hernando County Utilities Department (HCUD) water and wastewater utility systems. These connections will have a direct impact on the HCUD system.
As a result, the Developer has agreed to enter into an oversizing agreement with HCUD, to oversize the 1,625 ft force main they are required to construct for their development from a 4” to an 8” diameter main. Increasing the size of this force main will support future growth of this area and is consistent with the approved wastewater master plan. The cost of the oversizing is estimated at $68,432.00.

It is recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the attached Agreement for Oakview Woods Force Main Oversizing.
