BRIEF OVERVIEW
There is currently one position available on the Economic Development & Airport Technical Advisory Committee (EDA-TAC). The vacancy is due to the resignation of Frank Morsani on September 15, 2025.
A news release was issued accepting applications from individuals interested in serving on the committee. As a result of the news release, an application was received from Carey James Carlson. The applicant has been verified as being a resident and registered voter in Hernando County.
EDA-TAC consists of nine (9) to eleven (11) members with specific areas of related professional or technical expertise and are appointed by the Board. Areas of expertise may be comprised of, but not limited to, the following sectors: aviation, manufacturing/logistics, workforce, entrepreneur, education, healthcare, real estate, financial services, construction/development, community-based organization or association. Members shall serve staggered terms of four (4) years in length. The EDA-TAC meets a minimum of four (4) times per year.
