BRIEF OVERVIEW
The State Funded Grant Agreement No. G3063 between the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and Hernando County (Agency) was received and approved by the Board on January 9, 2024, funding the construction activities associated with the Anderson Snow Road at Corporate Boulevard Improvement and resurfacing project which was executed by the FDOT June 11, 2024.
The Supplemental Agreement will allow us to extend the project limits by 1,250 feet to resurface from the entrance of Butler Heating and A/C at 3035 Anderson Snow Road to Spring Hill Drive, making this project more cohesive for the residents of Hernando County.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
The additional resurfacing work is associated with CIP 111817-Anderson Snow & Corporate Blvd Improvements and will cost $323,816.00 and Funding is available in the following account:
Expense:
Fund: Constitutional Gas Tax Fund - B103, Department: DPW Administration - 180, Account: Capital-Improv Other than BLDG - 566350, Projects: Improve-Roads & Bridges - XC453
CIP 112004 Ayers Intersection Improvement was re-budgeted for next year, part of that funding will be used from this account to cover the expense.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board approve the attached State-Funded Grant Agreement No. G3063 Supplemental Agreement No. 1 between Hernando County and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for construction activities related to the Anderson Snow Road at Corporate Boulevard Intersection Improvements Project.
