BRIEF OVERVIEW
On April 26, 2022, the BOCC approved award of Contract No. 22-TF0044 to Paff Tree Service, LLC for Tree Trimming and Removal Services for $194,220.00 with an estimated annual amount of $64,740.00.
Contract Amendment No. 1 was approved by the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) on April 22, 2024. Amendment No. 1 was an increase to the contract in the amount of $19,422.00 and an annual increase of $71,214.00.
Purchase Order No. 25000174 was originally issued on May 14, 2024, in the amount of $71,214.00.
Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $12,948.00 was approved by the CPO on June 4, 2025, to cover anticipated invoice needs. Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $12,948.00 increased the purchase order to $84,162.00.
Hernando County Department of Public Works has requested Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $60,000.00 for Purchase Order No. 25000174 for a higher demand to remove unsafe trees this fiscal year. Change order No. 2, in the amount of $60,000.00, would increase the purchase order to $144,162.00.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Board approve Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $60,000.00 to Paff Tree Service, LLC for Purchase Order No. 25000174, bringing the total purchase order amount to $144,162.00.
