Resolution Authorizing County Engineer and Appropriate County Staff to Coordinate Installation of No-Passing Roadway Striping Along Ayers Road From US Highway 41 to Culbreath Road

BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Department of Public Works is proposing to re-stripe and revise No Passing Zones on Ayers Road from the railroad crossing east of US 41 to Culbreath Road. The No Passing Zones revision will help improve safety for side roads, especially near and through the curves along Ayers Road.
Contract 22-T00045 was awarded with an annual spend of $570,995.00 for striping and raised pavement markings installation on April 26, 2022.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the attached resolution authorizing the installation of no-passing roadway striping along Ayers Road from US41 to Culbreath Road.
