BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Fiscal Year 2026 Solid Waste Revenue Sufficiency Study dated May 2026, was completed by Raftelis Financial Consultants, Inc. The study recommends adjusting tipping fees to recover disposal costs for waste at the Northwest Solid Waste Management Facility and the Solid Waste Convenience Centers. The recommended rates are as follows:

The Solid Waste Department requests that the new rates take effect on January 1, 2027.
It should be noted that rates were recently increased on April 28, 2026, pursuant to recommendations from the 2025 Solid Waste Revenue Sufficiency Study.
