Notification From State Public Service Commission Regarding Review of 2025 Ten-Year Site Plans for State Electric Utilities for Duke Energy Florida

BRIEF OVERVIEW
Received the attached letter from Greg Davis, Engineering Specialist at the State of Florida Public Service Commission advising of review of the 2025 ten-year site plan for Duke Energy Florida, LLC which includes the Rattler Solar site along Duke’s Brooksville to Inverness 69 kV transmission line, proximate to the existing Nobleton Tap. Pursuant to Section 186.801, Florida Statutes, the Florida Public Service Commission (Commission) is responsible for reviewing and classifying each electric utility’s Ten-Year Site Plan as “suitable” or “unsuitable.” As part of the annual review, in accordance with Rule 25-22.071, Florida Administrative Code, the Commission must provide a copy of the relevant Ten-Year Site Plans (TYSP) to, and solicit the views of, the appropriate state, regional, and local agencies. To this end, the Commission has made available on its website electronic copies of the 2025 TYSPs for all the Florida electric utilities at the following link: https://www.floridapsc.com/ten-year-site-plans.
