Change Order No. 2 to Grant Agreement With State Department of Environmental Protection for Northcliffe Force Main Project

BRIEF OVERVIEW
Grant Agreement No. WG026 between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and Hernando County was approved by the Board on October 11, 2022 (Item 10969). Change order No. 1 to Grant Agreement WG026 shifting the funding from State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) to State Funding was approved by the Board on August 27, 2024 (Item 14371). Amendment 1 for a revision in the scope of work, budget reallocation and addition of a new task to the grant work plan, was approved by the Board on January 14, 2025 (Item 15244).
Change Order 2 has been submitted by FDEP to revise the Grant Work Plan extending the Contractual Services Construction task to November 30, 2026, thereby allowing time for Hernando County to submit Final Project documentation.

It is recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the attached Change Order No. 2 to Agreement No. WG026 with FDEP.
