BRIEF OVERVIEW
Staff received a request from Lois Maiolo, Co-Chair of the Winding Waters Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Spring Hill, Florida, to proclaim the week of September 17, 2026, through September 23, 2026, as Constitution Week in Hernando County. The attached resolution recognizes the 239th anniversary of the framing of the Constitution of the United States of America and encourages all citizens to participate in meaningful ceremonies and programs that celebrate our Constitution and reaffirm our rights and obligations as citizens of our great nation.
