Ratification of Sole Source Purchase Order to Southern Sewer Equipment Sales for Vacuum Truck System Repairs for Department of Public Works

BRIEF OVERVIEW

Equipment No. 21360 was taken to Southern Sewer for repairs to the compressor assembly and the driveshaft and pulley on the front hydro pump. To determine the extent of the repairs, the machine had to be disassembled before an estimate for repair could be provided.  Fleet was issued Sole Source No. 23-SS000390 and Purchase Order No. 23000943.  The equipment has been repaired and the invoice has been attached.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT

Funding in the amount of $52,004.03 is available in Account 5071-08021-5303476, Outside Repairs.

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Board ratify the purchase order in the amount of $52,004.03 to Southern Sewer for the repairs of Equipment No. 21360.
