Amendment No. 2 to Grant Agreement With U.S. Department of Agriculture for Composting and Food Waste Reduction Grant Program and Associated Budget Resolution

BRIEF OVERVIEW
This amendment of the composting and waste reduction grant contract between Hernando County and the U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service realigns contractual consulting dollars to compost education supplies in the amount of $31,000 and reduces the contractual match agreement so that only the required 25% match is included, thereby reducing the match from $376,549 to $74,991.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture has provided preliminary approval of the requested amendment.

An associated reversal budget resolution is attached for this item. The resolution reduces the following revenue and expense accounts:
