BRIEF OVERVIEW

Three vacancies exist on the Hernando County Fine Arts Council due to the resignation of Sommer Brocuglio, Jessica Knutilla and Diane Ziemski.  The bylaws call for 15 active members.  Sommer Brocuglio and Jessica Knutilla resigned from the Fine Arts Council on July 28, 2022, and Diane Ziemski resigned from the Fine Arts Council on July 30, 2022.

 

A news release was issued accepting applications from individuals interested in serving on the Fine Arts Council.  As a result of the news release, applications were received from Maxine Winer and Alison Papantoniou.  The applicants have been verified as being residents and registered voters in Hernando County. 

 

The Fine Arts Council members have been advised of the applications received.

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Board appoint Maxine Wimer and Alison Papantoniou to serve as members on the Hernando County Fine Arts Council, effective until December 31, 2025.
