Utilization of State Department of Management Services Contract With Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc., for Copiers, Printers, and Related Business Products and Services for Various County Departments

BRIEF OVERVIEW
On July 31, 2024, Hernando County's piggyback with the State of Florida for copiers, printers and related business products and services with Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc., and Konica Minolta Business Solutions, Inc., expired. The Procurement Department requested piggyback with Sourcewell Contract No. 030321-TOS to meet the same needs as the expiring State of Florida contract. The Board approved No. 14305 on July 30, 2024, to piggyback the Sourcewell contract.
State of Florida's new Master Agreement became available August 5, 2024. Procurement is requesting approval to piggyback State of Florida contract No. 44100000-24-NASPO-ACS to provide copiers, printers, and related software and services for multiple Hernando County departments with a contract expiration of July 31, 2026, with three (3) one-year renewals. Procurement is requesting that we use the State of Florida contract.
Hernando County Procurement Department has assigned No. 24-P0122E to this Contract for tracking purposes.
The Chief Procurement Officer has reviewed this requirement for conformance to
Procurement Ordinance and Purchasing Policies and Procedures.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Purchases will only be made against available department budgets.

The Board has the authority to act on this matter pursuant to Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Board approve the utilization of State of Florida Contract 44100000-24-NASPO-ACS (Hernando County File No. 24-P0122E) with Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc., for the contract term.
