License Agreement With City of Brooksville for Use of Chinsegut Hill

BRIEF OVERVIEW
Hernando County Board of County Commission and the City of Brooksville City Council mutually wishes to enter into a license agreement for the City of Brooksville to operate Chinsegut Hill Conference Center, Dining Hall, Classroom, Caretaker’s house, Cottages, and related facilities and support structures. The Tampa Bay History Center will continue to operate the museum within the Manor House. Hernando County will maintain portions of the facilities for upkeep and general maintenance pursuant to the matrix of responsibilities within Exhibit D.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
City of Brooksville will retain all revenue from rent payments and income from the property.

The Board has the authority to act on the request pursuant to Chapters 125 and 163, Florida Statutes.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the attached Hernando County License Agreement with the City of Brooksville for the use of Chinsegut Hill.
