BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Hut Pumping Station and Force Main Grant Agreement with the Department of Environmental Protection is scheduled for approval at the October 11, 2022, Board Meeting, Doc ID No. 10967. (Originally scheduled for the September 27, 2022, Board meeting). A budget resolution is needed at this time to set up the grant. Procurement of construction will be complete by the end of FY 2023.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The attached budget resolution will set up Federal grant funding totaling $1,500,000.00 for the Hut Pumping Station and Force Main project. Hernando County Utilities Department match will be $1,500,000.00. See attached budget resolution for account information.

The Board has the authority to act on this matter pursuant to Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the attached budget resolution for the Hut Pumping Station and Force Main Project.
