BRIEF OVERVIEW
Attached is a memorandum from Development Services Planning Administrator Omar DePablo regarding Conditional Use Permit actions taken by the Planning and Zoning Commission (P&Z) on August 12, 2024. On that date, the P&Z voted to approve the following:
• A conditional use permit for a temporary security residence associated with the construction of a house as petitioned by William and Stacy Thunder Camara (File No. CU2407).
• A conditional use permit for a temporary security residence associated with the construction of a house as petitioned by Ryan Goodwin (File No. CU2408).
• A conditional use permit for a temporary security residence associated with the construction of a house as petitioned by Heather Swezey (File No. CU2409).
• A renewal of a conditional use permit for a second residence as petitioned by Joan Hahn (File No. CU2410).
According to Appendix A, Zoning, Article V, Section 4(H) of the Hernando Code of Ordinances, the Board, by a majority vote, may decide to review any conditional use decision rendered by the P&Z. If a least a majority of the governing body do no vote to review the P&Z decision within thirty (30) days, the P&Z decision shall be deemed final and subject only to review by the circuit court.
