Approval of Construction Drawing Time Extension for Avalon West Phase II

BRIEF OVERVIEW
Construction drawings for Avalon West Phase 2 were initially approved on July 13, 2022. This approval requires construction to commence by July 13, 2023, and be completed by January 13, 2024.
The applicant submitted a written request to the Planning Division on June 27, 2023, requesting an extension of these deadlines to July 13, 2024, and January 13, 2025, respectively.
Section 26-21(d)(2) of the Hernando County Land Development Regulations allows for the developer to request one time extension for construction drawings for a period not to exceed 18 months.
