BRIEF OVERVIEW
On September 26, 2023, the Board approved Contract No. 23-T00040/AP for Pre-Qualification of Vendors for Construction Services for Projects under $500,000, pre-qualifying firms under three (3) categories, A-Public Works, C-Utilities, D-Facilities to provide quotes for County projects on an as-needed basis.
On October 14, 2025, Hernando County Fire Rescue and Emergency Services issued a Request for Quotes (Contract No. 23-T00040/AP Quote 42) for Remodel of Fire Station No. 7( Mondon Hil Rd) Remodel Project.
The Request for Quote was sent to eight (8) pre-qualified firms for Category D-Facilities.

Hernando County Fire Rescue and Emergency Services reviewed for price, conformance to specifications and the Bidder's ability to perform the contract in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications required and is recommending award of quote to MVH Construction, LLC.
A Notice of Intent to Award was posted on December 29, 2025, and no challenges were received.
