Ninth Amendment to Aviation Ground Lease Agreement With Raytheon Company for Use of Airfield at Brooksville-Tampa Bay Regional Airport

BRIEF OVERVIEW

On March 22, 2003, the Board approved an Aviation Ground Lease with Raytheon Company for completion of work subject to an existing contract with the Department of the Army.  Raytheon Company wishes to enter in a Ninth Amendment to Aviation Ground Lease for the same area as in the original lease.

 

Raytheon Company leases 9,000sf of land at the Brooksville-Tampa Bay Regional Airport and the current lease will expire in September of this year.  The Lessee wishes to extend the lease for an additional five years commencing on October 1, 2025, and will expire on September 30, 2030.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT

The Airport will receive a minimum annual revenue of $10,123.20 in:

 

Fund:  4311 - Airport/Industrial Park, Account:  3620051 - Lease Aviation

 

LEGAL NOTE

The Board is authorized to act on this matter pursuant to Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.

It is recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the Ninth Amendment to Aviation Ground Lease between Hernando County and Raytheon Company.
