BRIEF OVERVIEW

Pursuant to Section 286.011(8), Florida Statutes, the Board of County Commissioners will hold an attorney/client session to discuss a proposed settlement related to litigation pertaining to Hernando County v. Hernando County Fair Association, Inc., Hernando County Circuit Court Case No. H-27-CA-2022-338, on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at 8:30 a.m., in Room 261 of the Hernando County Government Center, 20 North Main Street, Brooksville, Florida.  The attending parties shall be all members of the Hernando County Board of County Commissioners:  John Allocco, Elizabeth Narverud, Steve Champion, Jerry Campbell, and Brian Hawkins; County Administrator Jeff Rogers and Interim Deputy County Administrator Scott Herring; Community Services Director Christopher Linsbeck; County Attorney Jon Jouben and Assistant County Attorney Kyle Benda, attorneys for Hernando County.  The attorney/client session is closed to the public.  The entire session shall be recorded by a certified court reporter and the transcript shall be filed with the Clerk for the Board, Docket No. 23-03-BCC.  Said transcript shall remain sealed until the cases have concluded. 

 

Upon returning to public session, the Board may consider any action that may be necessitated as a result of the attorney/client session.
