Notification From Duke Energy Florida, LLC, Advising of Upcoming Right-of-Way Vegetation Management Activities
body
BRIEF OVERVIEW
Received the attached letter from Duke Energy Resource Coordinator of Transmission Vegetation Management advising of upcoming vegetation management activities within the right-of-way of a power line corridor located in Hernando County. Crews will be pruning and, in some cases, removing trees within the BBW-1 115kV and BWB-2 115kV transmission power line corridor. Affected landowners will be notified individually as the project proceeds and prior to work commencing on their property. Although we do not anticipate any power interruptions at this time, should an outage become necessary to complete this work, we will notify affected customers in advance.
The BWB-1 115kV and the BWB-2 115kV Lines share a 9.02-mile right-of-way. Both lines begin at the Brooksville Substation, located at 1625 East Jefferson St, Brooksville, FL, then run to Tangerine Substation, located at 119113 Mason-Smith Rd, Tangerine, FL, and end at the Brooksville West Substation, located at 13424 Cortez Blvd, Brooksville, FL.
