BRIEF OVERVIEW
Hernando County submitted its 2024-2026 Consolidated Plan on August 13, 2024, and the Annual Action Plan on July 22, 2025, to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), for review and approval of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME projects. Attached for the Board’s approval are federal award agreements for each program in the following amounts:
• Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) $1,137,403.00
Project/Grant No. 1 B-25-UC-12-2102
• HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) $375,686.50
Grant No. M25-UC120235
The total amount funded for FY 2025 is $1,513,089.50.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funds in the amount of $1,513,089.50 as estimated under Legistar item 16086 and budget for FY2026 shall be deposited for CDBG and HOME as listed below.
Fund: 0011- General Fund, Department: 35071 - HHS CDBG, Account: 3315003 - FED GRT CDBG in the amount of $1,137,403.00
Fund: 0011 - General Fund, Department: 35087 - HHS Home, Account: 3315004 - Home Investment Program in the amount of $375,686.50.

The Board has authority to act on this matter pursuant to Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the following associated documents/agreements:
