BRIEF OVERVIEW
Two (2) vacancies exist on the Waterways Advisory Committee due to resignations. Ronald Zellmer resigned effective August 19, 2026, and Kathryn Birren resigned effective August 20, 2026. A news release was issued accepting applications from individuals interested in serving as a member on the Waterways Advisory Committee. As a result of the news release, one (1) application was received from Casey Taylor. The applicant has been verified as a resident and registered voter in Hernando County. The other vacancy remains unfilled until such time as additional applications are submitted.
