BRIEF OVERVIEW
Two (2) vacancies currently exist on the Fine Arts Council due to recent expired terms and/or resignations. As a result of a news release, four applications were received from Megan Champagne, Ezequiel Merino, Vanessa Northcott, and Marie Rode. The applicants have been verified as being residents and registered voters in Hernando County.
At the May 14, 2026, meeting of the Fine Arts Council, the Council reviewed the applicants and recommended the appointment of Marie Rode and Vanessa Northcott.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board appoint two (2) members from the following list of applicants to serve as members of the Hernando County Fine Arts Council, effective until December 31, 2030.
