body

BRIEF OVERVIEW

This agenda item seeks approval of a lease agreement with the City of Brooksville for Tourist Development to remain at its current location on Fort Dade Avenue.  This lease is contingent upon the Board’s approval of the dedication of Hernando Park to The City of Brooksville (Legistar #14085 on this meeting agenda).

If approved, Hernando County, as the tenant, would sign the attached lease first, and will extend for a term of six (6) years.  This lease approval will allow Hernando County Tourism to continue operating at its present location which is shared with a second tenant (Brooksville Main Street, Inc.) in Hernando Park.  Further, this agreement is essential for facilitating the seamless transition of Hernando Park’s management and ensuring continued tourism activities.
