Revised State Financial Assistance Agreement With Department of Transportation for Runway Repair and Rehabilitation at Brooksville-Tampa Bay Regional Airport and Associated Resolution

BRIEF OVERVIEW
On June 27, 2023, the Hernando County Board of County Commissioners approved a State Financial Assistance Agreement (FPN 45070319401) to assist with funding the conversion of approximately 2,100 feet of abandoned runway to an active taxiway to prepare the southwest side of the airfield for future aviation development as depicted on the approved Airport Layout Plan.
Upon receiving the approved grant, the Florida Department of State (FDOT) made an administrative change to the FPN number which is now FPN 45346319401/Contract No. G2M86. All other terms and conditions remain the same.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
There is no impact to the Airport funds at this time. A budget resolution was approved with the original grant.

The Board is authorized to act on this matter pursuant to Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.

It is recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the attached revised State Financial Assistance Agreement (FPN 45346319401) and grant resolution for the runway repair and rehabilitation.
