BRIEF OVERVIEW
Horn Avenue is a two-lane paved roadway that provides direct access to several businesses and residential properties along Fall and Summer Streets. Fall Street is a two-lane, dead-end roadway that is paved for 300 feet with curb and gutter and sidewalks on both sides of the roadway. The roadway shoulders along Horn Avenue and Fall Street have sustained damage due to unauthorized vehicles parking within the road right of way.
Staff is recommending no parking signs be placed on Horn Avenue (from Winter Street to Summer Street) and the paved portion on Fall Street (from Horn Avenue to 322’ N of Horn Avenue.) to prevent parking within the road right of way and to curtail future damage to the roadway shoulders.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Board adopt and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the attached resolution prohibiting parking and providing for placement of no parking signs within the road right of way on Horn Avenue (from Winter Street to Summer Street) and Fall Street (from Horn Avenue to 322’ N of Horn Avenue).
