BRIEF OVERVIEW
The irrigation pump at the entrance of Berkeley Manor Municipal Service Benefit Unit (MSBU) failed during the last week of September. A connecting 40-foot buried drop pipe was also discovered to be damaged. To curtail further damage to the pump system, repairs were completed on October 6, 2023, in the amount of $2,585.00. In order to cover the unanticipated costs associated with the pump repair, the attached budget amendment is submitted for Board approval.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Reduce Berkeley Manor MSBU Account No. 7231-09231-5909917 Budget Res-Capital Project, and increase Account No. 7231-09231-5304601 Repair/Maint-Bldg & Grd in the amount of $3,000.00.

The Board has the authority to act on this matter pursuant to Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board approve the attached budget amendment realigning funds from Berkeley Manor MSBU Fund 7231 reserves to cover the pump repair costs.
