BRIEF OVERVIEW
Request:
Master Plan Revision for a property zoned PDP(GC)/Planned Development Project (General Commercial) with Specific C-2 Uses for Mini-warehouses and Outdoor Storage, with deviations.

BOCC Action:
On August 27, 2024, the Board of County Commissioners voted 5-0 to adopt a resolution denying the petitioners request for a Master Plan Revision for a property zoned PDP(GC)/Planned Development Project (General Commercial) with specific C-2 uses for Mini-warehouses and Outdoor Storage, with deviations and approved the Reestablishment of the previous Master Plan (H2136) and the previously approved performance conditions.

LEGAL NOTE
The Board has the authority to make the requested rezoning decision pursuant to Chapters 125 and 163 Florida Statutes. The Applicable Criteria for a Zoning District Amendment are contained in Appendix A, (Zoning Code) Article VI. The Applicable Criteria for a PDP are found in Appendix A, (Zoning Code) Article VIII. The Zoning District Amendment to the Planned Development District and applicable PDP master plan must be consistent with the Comprehensive Plan.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Board adopt and authorize the Chairperson’s signature on the attached resolution ratifying the Board’s action to approve the petitioner’s request for the reestablishment of a Master Plan on property zoned PDP(GC)/Planned Development Project (General Commercial) with specific C-2 uses.
