BRIEF OVERVIEW
Wolfswood Holdings, LLC (Pem-Air Turbine Engine Services), a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) global repair provider of commercial and military aircraft turbine engines, accessories, and related platform components has been a tenant at the Brooksville - Tampa Bay Regional Airport (BKV) since 2012. Wolfswood Holdings, LLC received their Certificate of Occupancy earlier this year for their most recent expansion, the construction of a 65,000sf aviation maintenance and repair facility. The facility is located on 9.3 acres of leased land within the Aviation Expansion Zone which is on the west side of the airport directly adjacent to the inactive runway.
Wolfswood Holdings, LLC was the first company to build within the Aviation Expansion Zone. During their build they encountered several unanticipated issues that had to be overcome to keep the project on track. The infrastructure related problems are detailed below.
Because of its location, the facility was unable to connect to the existing sewer infrastructure. After much consideration and significant research between Wolfswood Holding, LLC, the County and the State, it was determined that the best course of action was to allow for a temporary septic system to be constructed with a requirement for the company to connect when sewer service became available. This issue resulted in unexpected expenses for Wolfswood Holdings, LLC in the amount of $81,568.40. County sewer improvements are currently underway that will serve this facility as well as future growth in that area.
