BRIEF OVERVIEW
On September 26, 2023, the Board approved Contract No. 23-T00040/AP for Pre-Qualification of Vendors for Construction Projects Under $500,000.00, Doc Id No. 12623.
On January 14, 2025, the Board approved Quote No. 22 for 23-T00040/AP, Doc Id, No. 15216 for County Administration Office Renovation (Phase 1) to S. Culp Enterprises d/b/a Property Services GC, in the amount of $78,529.00.
The Final Contract amount is $78,529.00 (PO No. 25000534).
The work has been completed and S. Culp Enterprises d/b/a Property Services GC has submitted its Final Pay Application No. One (1) in the amount of $78,529.00. All releases properly include Hernando County. S. Culp Enterprises d/b/a Property Services GC has signed a release of lien.
All notices of lien or claims of lien have been released on the project.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funding in the amount of $78,529.00 has already been encumbered in the following:
Fund: 0011 - General Fund, Department: 01051 - Board of County Commissioners, Account: 5606301 - IMPROV (GRTR THAN 50,000)
There was no retainage for this project. Payment is being requested in full due to project completion. Upon making the payment, the encumbrance will reduce to zero and the “actual” amount will show up in the “YTD exp” column.

The Board has the authority to act on this item pursuant to Part II, Chapter 2, Article V of the Hernando County Code of Ordinances.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board approve Final Pay Request No. One (1) in the amount of $78,529.00 to S. Culp Enterprises d/b/a Property Services GC to close out Contract No. 23-T00040/AP Q 22.
The final Contract amount is $78,529.00, there was no amount change from BOCC award.
