BRIEF OVERVIEW
On July 10, 2018, the BOCC approved award of Contract No. 18-R00020 to McKim & Creed, Inc. for the Continuing Engineering Services for Water, Wastewater and Reclaimed Water Projects.

On April 28, 2021, the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) approved Task Order No. 7 for Chalmer Pumping Station Upgrade.

The purchase order was originally issued for $281,286.79. Change order No. 6 in the amount of $59,616.00, would increase the Purchase Order to $553,577.83.

Change Order No. 1, a no cost time extension, was CPO approved on March 4, 2022, to complete design phase of project.

Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $7,378.25 was CPO approved on March 15, 2023, to ensure the force main is sized properly for additional flow.

Change Order No. 3 in the amount of $19,037.31 was CPO approved on August 14, 2023, to change the design from a 10" FM to a 12" FM to accommodate flows from the Somerset Bay subdivision.

Change Order No. 4 in the amount of $13,936.78, was CPO approved on October 4, 2023, and necessary due to FDEP requiring a flow meter to be located at any new construction lift station with a design pump rate above 350 GPM.

Change Order No. 5 in the amount of $172,322.70, was CPO approved on December 13, 2024, for additional daily inspection services to this project.

Hernando County Utilities Department has requested an increase for Purchase Order No. 21000814 for additional funding and 432 labor hours to ensure CEI support through the project completion date of May 17, 2026, per scope of work. This constitutes Changer Order No. 6 in the amount of $59,616.00.
