BRIEF OVERVIEW
On April 26, 2022, the BOCC approved award of Contract No. 22-T00032 to JDMF, LLC for Lot Mowing and Trash/Debris Removal and Disposal Services for $450,000.00.
The purchase order was originally issued for $34,999.99. Change Order No. 3 in the amount of $120,000.00, would increase the purchase order to $219,999.99.
Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $35,000.00 was approved by the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) on February 14, 2025, for an increase of contractor cases.
Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $30,000.00 was approved by the CPO on May 27, 2025, for additional invoices to be received.
Change Order No. 3 in the amount of $120,000.00 has been requested by Hernando County Code Enforcement Department for an increase for Purchase Order No. 25000342 to cover invoices and allow to complete other cases received by citizens for abatement of trash, debris, and mowing.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funding for Change Order No. 3 in the amount of $120,000.00 is available, pending the attached Budget Amendment (BA2025-154) from General Fund Reserves. The applicable accounts are:
Fund: 0011 - General Fund, Department: 01531 - Code Enforcement, Account: 5304919 - Oper Exp-Spcl Assessments in the amount of $120,000.
Fund: 0011 - General Fund, Department: 05981 - Budg Res/Cash Forward, Account: 5909999 - Contingencies Reserve in the amount of $(120,000).
LEGAL NOTE
The Board has the authority to act on this item pursuant to Part II, Chapter 2, Article V of the Hernando County Code of Ordinances.
