body

BRIEF OVERVIEW

Grant Agreement No. WG049 between the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) and Hernando County was approved by the Board on August 23, 2022 (Item No. 10835).

Change Order 1 to Grant No. WG049 was approved by the Board on July 30, 2024 (Item 14319), which shifted a portion of the Federal Spring State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) between State funding and Federal Work Week Group (WWG) as well as extended the Task 2 Timeline.

Amendment 1 to Grant No. WG049 was approved by the Board on November 19, 2024, (Item 14673), which revised the scope of work, reallocated the project budget, extended the agreement and updated the funding source.

FDEP emailed stating they have outdated forms on file for this agreement. The forms need to be updated because federal dollars were expended from American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds and because the grant total is over $10 million. Hernando County Utilities has completed the updated SLFRF form, and it is attached for approval.
