BRIEF OVERVIEW
Wannamacher Jensen Architects, Inc. (WJA) were awarded to perform the architectural work for Fire Station 15 in March 2023. At the time of their award, Hernando County Fire and Emergency Services (HCFES) had requested for the design to include a temporary modular station. Since that time, we have requested a design change to remove the temporary modular station. WJA’s scope of work will include the following:
1) The final construction documents to be bid for construction.
2) Assistance with permitting and bidding processes.
3) Construction administration.
The change in price is an increase of $32,161.
HCFES is requesting to move $32,161 from Account No. 3375-02276-5909910 - Reserves for contingency in Fire Impact Fees to Account No. 3375-02276-5303101 - Professional Services in order to process the change order for WJA.

Staff recommends the approval and signature on the Budget Amendment to move funds from Reserves to Professional Services in Fund 3375.
