BRIEF OVERVIEW
On October 13, 2023, the Utilities Department requested piggyback of the City of Jacksonville Beach Contract 05-2122 Environmental Sampling and Analytical Laboratory Services, with a contract expiration of May 4, 2027. The Contract does not provide for any renewals.
Hernando County Utilities Department currently has no Environmental Sampling and Analytical Laboratory Services contract and requests piggyback approval with
Advanced Environmental Labs, Inc., to provide those contract services for the contract term, in the estimated annual spend amount of $94,550.00.
The Procurement Department has assigned No. 24-P00124/FH to this Contract for tracking purposes.
The Chief Procurement Officer has reviewed this requirement for conformance to Procurement Ordinance and Purchasing Policies and Procedures.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funding in the estimated annual amount of $94,550.00 is available in Hernando County Utilities Account No. 07111-5303432 in the amount of $56,183.00 and Account No. 07121-5303432 in the amount of $38,367.00 for a total of $94,550.00.

The Board has the authority to act on this matter pursuant to Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended the Board approve the utilization of the City of Jacksonville Beach Contract 05-2122 (24-P0124/FH) with Advanced Environmental Labs, Inc., for environmental sampling and analytical laboratory services for the contract term, in the estimated annual spend amount of $94,550.00.
It is further recommended the Board approve the Chief Procurement Officer to renew the contract with the same terms and conditions and approve change orders as they become necessary and required up to annual budgeted amounts.
