Notification From Peoples Gas System of Petition to Increase Rates and Charges for Natural Gas Service

BRIEF OVERVIEW
Staff received the attached letter from the Peoples Gas System a/k/a TECO notifying that Peoples Gas System has formally filed a petition with the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) to begin the several months-long process of requesting and receiving approval for an increase to their customer base rates and charges which is required by Rule 25-22.0406 of the Florida Administrative Code, Notice and Public Information on General Rate Increase Requests. If approved, the anticipated new rates will be effective in early January 2024.
