BRIEF OVERVIEW

Received the attached email from Pace Center for Girls, Hernando Executive Director, Kimberly Buford, requesting a letter of support for their $2,500,000.00 Appropriation Project for the upcoming legislative session.  These funds will support the completion of a new Pace Hernando building, a critical step in expanding their capacity to serve the girls in Hernando County.  The Pace Center has outgrown their current facility with the increasing demand for their services in Hernando County.

The new Pace Building will:

1.                     Expand capacity to serve more girls in need.

2.                     Enhance safety and accessibility for students and staff.

3.                     Incorporate modern technology and resources to prepare girls for academic and career success.

4.                     Create a sustainable community hub for growth and empowerment for years to come.

The Pace Center for Girls provides a safe, supportive environment for girls to find their voice, achieve academic success, and build brighter futures.
