BRIEF OVERVIEW
With the purpose of widening, extending, and improving capacity of Ayers Road, the Florida Department of Transportation has Quitclaimed 38 parcels of land to Hernando County, spread throughout twelve different property keys.
The legal descriptions for these parcels are included in the attached Quitclaim Deed as follows:
Exhibits “A”, “B”, “C”, “D”, “E”, “F”, “G”, “H”, “I”, “K”, “M”, “N”, “O”, “P”, “Q”, “R”, “S”. “T”, “U”, “V”, and “W” attached hereto and made a part thereof.
Note: There is no Exhibit “J” to this conveyance as it was intentionally omitted and not used.
These 38 parcels are located on parcel Keys: 377906, 377942, 379183, 379469, 1027739, 1037032, 1076855, 1747202, 1750652, 1751919, 1752133 & 1752142.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
If the Quitclaim Deed is accepted, the taxes and recording fees estimated at $307.50 will be paid from account 1011-01352-5304923 (Transportation Trust Fund, Engineering, Fees & Costs-Filing Fees).

The Board has the authority to act on this matter pursuant to Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board accept the Quitclaim Deed from The State of Florida Department of Transportation for public road right of way and authorize staff to record the Quitclaim Deed for the additional right of way on County Road 578 at Ayers Road.
