BRIEF OVERVIEW
Board approval for the award of Contract No. 19-T00068/TPR for Road and Pavement Condition Survey Services to Pavement Management Group, Inc., was obtained on July 16, 2019, Doc ID 15906 for a base bid amount of $38,785.00.
Amendment No. One (1) is for a vendor requested increase to the Contract award amount. The increase was requested by the vendor for the final contract renewal period of July 29, 2023, through July 28, 2024. Pavement Management Group, Inc., has requested a 20% increase to the Contract award from $38,785.00 to $46,542.00.
The Department of Public Works reviewed the requested increase and has agreed with the vendor’s request for increase.
The Chief Procurement Officer has reviewed this requirement for conformance to Procurement Ordinance and Purchasing Policies and Procedures.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funds of $46,542.00 are available in the Additional Local Option Gas Tax 1-5 Fund Account No. 1022 03241 5303103 - Prof Serv-Engineering.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board approve Amendment No. One (1) to Contract 19-T00068/TPR to Pavement Management Group, Inc., for Road and Pavement Condition Survey Services final renewal to the Contract, from July 29, 2023, through July 28, 2024, price increase of $46,542.00 over the contract award the Board approved on July 16, 2019. It is further recommended that the Board authorize the Chief Procurement Officer to approve change orders as they become necessary and required up to the departments budgeted amounts.
