BRIEF OVERVIEW
Each year all local governments participating in the State Housing Initiatives Partnership Program (SHIP) must submit an annual report to the Florida Housing Finance Corporation (FHFC). The report reflects SHIP affordable housing programs and accomplishments for the State Fiscal Year 2021/2022 Close Out and Fiscal Year 2022/2023 Interim Year One.
The report is required by Florida Statutes, Section 420.9075(1) to be certified by the local government’s chief elected official or his/her designee as accurate and complete. Transmittal of the annual report by the county certifies that the local housing incentive strategies of the SHIP Local Housing Assistance Plan are implemented or in the process of being implemented pursuant to the adopted schedule for implementation.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board certify the FY 2021/2022 SHIP Annual Report and authorize the signature of the Chairman thereon.
