Tenth Amendment to Residential Franchise Agreement With Republic Services of Florida

BRIEF OVERVIEW
Residential Franchise Agreement No. 11-0008 between Hernando County and Republic Services of Florida, Limited Partnership d/b/a Republic Services of Tampa, provides for residential collection service of garbage, yard trash and recycling materials for the County and its residential customers. The Tenth Amendment modifies the agreement as described below:
Increases the rates for residential solid waste collection services as follows:
a. Mandatory Areas (Within MSBU) - $14.97 per month ($0.03 increase).
b. Non-Mandatory Areas (Outside MSBU) - $15.22 per month. ($0.03 increase).
FINANCIAL IMPACT
There is no additional cost to the County.

It is recommended the Board approve and authorize the Chairman’s signature on the attached Tenth Amendment to Residential Franchise Agreement No. 11-0008 between Republic Services of Florida and Hernando County.
