Correction of Scrivener’s Error From Previously Approved Agenda Item Regarding Federally Funded Subaward and Grant Agreement With State Division of Emergency Management for Expenses Resulting From Hurricane Idalia

BRIEF OVERVIEW
On January 9, 2024, the Board of County Commissioners authorized entering into a Federally Funded Subaward and Grant Agreement for DR-4734 Hurricane Idalia (Agreement No. Z3946 -- Agenda Item No. 13350).
After receiving the signed agreement, the Florida Department of Emergency Management discovered scrivener's errors in the document. The original subaward period of performance start dates for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Categories A -B and C-G expenditures were August 31, 2023, but they have been corrected to August 27, 2023.
The period of performance end date for all categories remains unchanged. The corrections have been incorporated into the attached agreement.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board approve and authorize the Chairperson’s signature on the attached revised Federally Funded Subaward and Grant Agreement for DR - 4737 - Hurricane Idalia, correcting the scriveners error of the date from August 31, 2023, to August 27, 2023.
